SYSTEM ENGINEERING
Not Your Mother's
System Engineering
System Engineering means a lot of things to a lot of people. Here it means opportunities to solve hard problems using critical thinking skills–as usual!--but the difference is that we embed our System Engineers with our Innovation, Data Tradecraft, Mission Engineering, and Software Development teams. It’s a lot easier to understand and communicate about real-world problems when you have a coterie of experts willing to take the time to walk you through details.
Projects and Problems
Here is just a sample of the projects we’ve worked on recently:
-
The Red Alpha Data fabric for Data Quality and Data Management
-
Design and implementation of a scalable architecture for servicing Large Language Models in the Cloud
-
Automation of key client business processes and optimization of manual workflows
-
Establishment of a management decision based portal and dashboard
-
Malware and traffic analysis architecture, design and implementation
Team Dynamic
One of the best things about Red Alpha is each team’s ability to do what makes sense for that team. Our System Engineers often interface directly with end-customers and leverage technical skills across Red Alpha. For example, you might need to work with the Data Tradecraft team to prototype an analytic product for a customer, then work with the Software Engineering team to automate it, and then work with the Cloud team to scale and deploy it into production. And when you encounter an unexpected issue, you can count on your leadership to bring the resources you need to keep the customer impressed.
